By Engin Dervişağa…..

By popular demand for this week’s Vox Pop show,  I am repeating my interview with Richard Efferton at his home in the Edremit area. Richard moved from Maidstone in the UK to Northern Cyprus 9 years ago after a very active Richard Effereton and Engin Dervisagacareer in mechanical and electrical insulations sector as a quantity surveyor and worked on the Euro Tunnel project and two power stations.

Enjoying a more relaxed life style now he has gone back to his roots and rekindled his interest in music when at the age of 18 he started playing an electric guitar and eventual performed 5 nights a week with different bands during the period he was at school and college.

Enjoying this new lease of musical life, he now plays for his amusement in his garden shed and played a number of pieces for our show.
